In accordance with the MOU on Educational Cooperation between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, the Chinese Government will provide five (5) full Scholarships for PNG students to pursue postgraduate studies in China, starting from the academic year of 2008, and fifteen (15) Scholarships for PNG students to pursue postgraduate or undergraduate studies in China for the 2008/2009 academic year.

Qualification: Applicants for full Scholarships must be PNG citizens under the age of 35, with a Bachelor Degree or higher one; and applicants for 2008/2009 academic year Scholarship must be PNG citizen under the age of 25, with a Secondary Diploma or a Bachelor Degree.

Requirement: Applicants are required to submit relevant application materials, including notarized photocopies of diplomas, academic transcripts, health certificate, recommendation letters, study plan and contact information.
